Supercharged Anti-Inflammatory Fruit Salad! (Gluten-Free, SCD)

This anti-inflammatory fruit salad can be tossed together in a few minutes. And it’s beyond refreshing. It makes me feel so amazing! 

What makes this fruit salad, is a mix of farmers cheese and flaxseed oil. It’s based on the very famous Budwig Protocol, where cottage cheese is mixed with flaxseed oil to create a daily, or twice daily, or more, dose. While I make no health claims, you can read about the Budwig Protocol here.

What I know is that this breakfast treat every morning brings me lots of protein, super-satisfying fats, and a ton of enzymes and energy of fresh fruit!

I mix together 1 tablespoon of flaxseed oil, organic for sure, about a quarter cup of dry curd cottage cheese otherwise known as farmers cheese, and blend it until really smooth. You can do the same with cottage cheese. Then I pile on fruit, some local honey, and I eat it right away!

You can add cinnamon, nuts or actual flax seeds ground fresh in a food processor for an even more powerful mix.
