Five Gorgeous Ways To Use Lavender To Enhance Your Day!

Look through an essential oil book and you will find that the cure for almost everything involves lavender. Flowers, essential oils, water infusions, teas… There are endless ways to use lavender.  It is calming, mood-lifting, creativity-inducing, chakra-balancing, space-clearing… You name it, lavender somehow gets the job done.

Plus, I have grown to lean on lavender essential oil. It is safe enough to literally pour on (ok, mixed in some oil like coconut oil) and/or put on the soles of my feet to almost instantly calm down my mind and body.

Good stuff. Magically good!

As I go to douse myself in a blend of high vibration lavender oil and vanilla essence, here are some of my most recent and favorite lavender inspirations. These ideas – from ice cream to mascara-enrichment- are easy to do but impressive and elevating!

lavender ice cream

Cooking with lavender is not an everyday affair, but it is definitely a cool way to infuse Summer into a late fall morning, add layers of intrigue to your ice cream and even kick up your cocktails in a relaxing, almost tranquilizing way. This Paleo Blueberry Lavender Jam Ice Cream is just off-the-charts in its lavender greatness.

I know you can get lavender flowers that are organic on Amazon rated for culinary use, but I prefer to shop for edibles at places with names I know like Williams Sonoma.

lavender linen spray

(hello natural)

And this lavender linen spray from Hello Natural– (incredible blog!)-  is the most divine and precious and simple awesome sleep cure!  My dogs love lavender, but since they both get skin irritation, I make sure to spray the underside of lines and inside my duvet where they won’t jump and roll around when I’m not looking!

Truly, the lavender love affair continues!

Question for all of you guys: I am thinking of expanding Sensory Goodness on the blog into lots of therapeutic grade essential oils…. Are you into it?   These oils are changing my life so it seems only natural that I should start sharing much more of the greatness.  Let me know. After all, this blog is for you…!
