An Easy Exercise To Help You Build Your Dream Life!

bird nest

Bird build a nest diligently to ensure they have a place to raise their family. Can you imagine if you had to fly around with stray and sticks in your beak, somehow weaving them into a recepticle to hold your babies? Its pretty magical. Indeed, its almost mind-boggling. Bees make giant combs, ants build colonies…. Nature builds with care and regularity.

This makes me think a lot about how we- you and me- are building our own nests.

I know we all want things… but what do we build on a daily basis?

What you want is likely different from your daily thoughts, words and actions if you aren’t living the life you want.

Building your dream life is a process.

If you are willing to be awake and willing to really look at life for all it is right now, you can create an amazing future.

It starts with the decision to have your lifestyle align with your intentions.

And can be easier than you think to get started!

Love your blog. I always feel just a bit more hopeful after reading your words and watching your videos – of the ‘faith and willing to do the hard work’ variety, not blindly. Nice to read/watch on a Friday early evening. I’ll try the log!

I cannot remember who “invented” or “cataloged” the concept of the power of intention but this sounds so much like it. This is Dana’s Power of Fulfillment. There is the saying “Where does the time go?” and sometimes it’s not utilized the way it should be. How can one live a full life if their daily list of things they’ve done is empty (or just plain un-inventive)? It’s such a wonderful post. The list is such a great idea. Gets me thinking about an online journal I used to do years (and I mean YEARS) ago!

Thank you for this, Dana. It really touched a nerve – in a good way! My ‘log’ of yesterday was chock full of money worries, dating worries, worries about my parent’s health. That quote about worry being ‘praying for what you don’t want’. So true! Today I will fill my time and mental energy with good things, things I can have power over, things that comfort me. Thanks again xx
