Instagramming Creative Experiments!

homie awards This week’s Instagram is all about creative experiments—- from caramel apples without sugar and milk to hair potions and even Bob’s campaign for his mom to win the Homies Award at Apartment Therapy.  And to start, thank you immensely for all of your votes! I am humbled by your support and while I am not a fan of bugging you guys to do anything but have great lives, if you haven’t voted yet HERE is how!  Massive gratitude in advance! Now… onto the week!

now is the time

Start before you are ready. That’s the key to major bursts of creativity that keep flowing. You always find readiness as you go, not in your head…!

hair potion

Tried out this hair potion at the spa. It is delicious!!! Coconut milk, honey, castor oil and coconut oil.  How to is right HERE if you want to give it a roll. I love it!

pickles

My sister winged it and made some homemade pickles that are nothing short of fantastic! And how gorgeous!  There is always a kitchen experiment looming in my life!

hazlenut waffles

These grain-free hazelnut waffles were an experiment gone good. I always get a bit of nervous excitement before tossing together a new batter!

caramel apples

Caramel apples, Paleo-style,  were another treat from childhood gone good this week!  It was a real challenge to allow myself the space to fail… but they worked pretty well!  🙂

Find new ways to experiment, to try, to reach, to go for the new.  We are never really ready for anything, but the excitement is in the space where you are making things, no matter how they turn out!

You can find me HERE on Instagram. I love seeing what you are up to, and I love when you Instagram me pics of your homes! Have a great week of making things you love!!!  xoxo Dana
