Hollywood Regency Glamour!

I was about to leave for NY until the weather turned to ice and snow, so while I am sending lots of good thoughts to my friends and family in the cold and snow, I am also tremendously grateful for Hollywood today, and its sunshining ways.

Today is a tribute to my most absolute favorite style of decor : Hollywood Regency. It is vintage taken to the highest form of glamour!

So absolutely beautiful.  The symmetry is calming. The colors are shockingly delicious.

While yes, in a feng shui sense the light fixture would be much better if it wasn’t right over the bed, this is one of my favorite bedrooms ever!

Totally outrageous leopard prints and jewel tones. Regency has such a vocabulary of possibility!

Loving the lamps, the table, the chic details… so sweet and simple but structured and rich at the same time.

Sometimes you need to see more possibility to see how to expand on what you have and turn it into what you want!  In the case of decor, simple ideas like jewel tones, a love of symmetry, a touch of bling and a heavy hand toward joy gleaned from Hollywood Regency can transform your home. Enjoy! xoxo Dana
