I have been reading a ton lately and the funny thing that happens when you start reading a lot and you haven’t in quite some time: you realize whether or not you have a place at home to read! When you start taking a bit more time for yourself and you are not accustomed to it, you may recognize the fact that you have no place to just kick back and lounge.
Even if you are a pro at relaxation, you may not have a dedicated space to zone out. Here’s a little lounge-spiration to get you thinking about where and how you can have a bit more comfy downtime in your place.
The only refinement here would be a dedicated reading light, something very elegant, sleek and maybe even Lucite!
Forever a classic and for a good reason. The only chair more comfortable is a Womb Chair in my opinion!
A whole lounge space. Deconstructed, nature-rich, art-filled and easy on the eyes.
Bedrooms & studios can also be a place to kick-back in private, perhaps a bit more appropriate for you than a busy den or living room?
This deeply inviting lounger creates a sense of relaxation as you approach the room. Brilliant!
If you have space to rest, you will likely get more done when you are active, so invest in the yin (quiet & still) lounging space a bit. Think about soft cushions, a fabulous ottoman, great lighting and perhaps some neutral colors. If you want more feng shui’d ideas for your own sanctuary, you can find more HERE. xoxo Dana
