The Past Is Like An Anchor Holding Us Back

In essence we live our past today, every day,  through the function of karma.  That is to say, all of our actions in the past are shaping how today turns out.  Karma is the accumulation of all of our thoughts, words and actions for a lifetime and for lifetimes that play out in our lives day-to-day.  So, what you did yesterday, or three years ago, might have a hand in how today goes.  Since we already experience quite enough of the past in the present, why not focus on creating things now that are amazing rather than going backwawrd all the time? The best days are ahead!  xoxo Dana

I used to be a major pack-rat. I loved to store old momentos and lots of stuff. I try really hard to stop focusing behind me, and focus forward or in the present now. It feels a lot lighter.
