Healthy Habit Of The Week : Sleep Enough!

I know, you need to have a life and you have so much going on and… if you don’t sleep, you are more likely to have anxiety, be depressed, get into accidents, get major diseases and pretty much under-perform and drag yourself through your life!  Here is the National Sleep Foundation (US) research on how much sleep we actually need on average ( & you get Bonus Points if you go to bed before midnight, says my insanely gifted acupuncturist)  :

How do you fare in the sleep realm? Can you spare an extra 30minutes to get to bed earlier, just 30 minutes a day…which will be 3 1/2 more hours a week for your energy to be replenished and your cells and organs to rejuvenate?   Give it a try even just one day and see how much better you feel and how much more you enjoy a day when you are rested!!! If you have sleep problems, drop them below & we’ll see if there are some feng shui fixes for you!  xoxo Dana

I’ve had trouble sleeping for about a month now. Not sure if it has to do with moving into a new home or just lots of change and worry in my current life in general. What can I do to change that? I’m slowly feng shuing our space and making it feel like home and I’m doing great with that or least I feel happier living in it :). But my sleep patterns have been off lately. Thanks in advance 🙂

Try to shut off electronics 2 hours— or at least an hour— before bed. Including your phone & TV. Too much noice and electronic waves can make things more stressful even if they seem relaxing!
